世界珠算心算联合会第三届第二次常务理事会商定，今年8月在中国南通市举办第四届珠心算比赛，有的国家和地区的会员单位反映，由于严重自然灾害等因素影响，不能派队参加今年的比赛。为了体现参与的广泛性，经与八位常务理事（有两位常务理事联系不上）协商，商定将世界珠算心算联合会第四届珠心算比赛推迟到明年举行，地点不变，具体事宜另行通知。

根据章程规定，今年仍将召开常务理事会会议，拟推迟到今年第四季度举行。具体事宜另行协商确定。

Notice on Postponement of the 4th Competition of Abacus and Mental Arithmetic of WAAMA

Dear members,

The 2nd meeting of the Executive Director Council decided to hold the 4th competition of abacus and mental arithmetic of WAAMA in August of 2011 in Nantong City of China. Some members say recently that the serious natural disasters and other factors block them to dispatch players to the 4th competition. The Secretariat reports this matter to the executive directors council. Eight executive directors gave their views, as well as two directors couldn’t be contacted. To reflect universality of participation, the executive director council decides to postpone the 4th competition of WAAMA to the next year. The competition place will not be changed. Please pay attention to the further notification on specific issues.

According to the charter of WAAMA, the executive director council thinks that the executive director council meeting shall be postponed to the fourth quarter of this year. The specific issues will be informed later.
